How to Stay Warm Fly Fishing in Winter - Introduction to Layering for Controlling Body Temperature

I'm Your Fly Fishing Huckleberry. And this question is a common one. How to keep warm while fly fishing - on shore, or wading in extreme winter weather. Have a look at common layering techniques used in all kinds of outdoor winter sports, and how I apply these techniques to keeping warm while fly fishing.
You know. If you're cold? You're miserable. So I take every piece of clothing for every part of the human body, and give detailed information about how to keep everything warm.
Layering is the key, and there are a lot of choices when it comes to layering. One choice? NEVER WEAR COTTON as a layer. Synthetics and silk rule the day when it comes to staying DRY and WARM.
