Autechre on TV 1994 - 01 Rob Brown & Sean Booth Interview

On 15 September 1994, British electronic duo Autechre appeared in person on MTV Europe's weekly Party Zone TV show. Band members Rob Brown and Sean Booth were interviewed by host Simone Angel and a couple of song requests also featured. The programme concluded with Autechre's Basscadet (Bcdtmx Mix) music video. This was a rare opportunity for a multinational TV audience to see Autechre before they achieved their later status & recognition - however, the event is not widely documented nor available on video today...

A far-from-optimal satellite signal was the source for my own VHS recording. The quality isn't great, but I've decided to upload it to YouTube as a unique historical record for today's electronic music fans. Enjoy!
