“Out here, birthdays ain’t about candles or cakes—they’re about the folks who still show up when the sky’s trying to kill you. Brick Day? That’s proof the world didn’t end—it just got louder.” -- Tod Wyoming
“Well howdy, wasteland wanderers and wire-bitten listeners!
Tonight’s broadcast comes live from the Tower, where the meat’s burnin’,
the lights are hummin’, and the fog’s stayin’ way over there.
’Cause today ain’t Tuesday, ain’t payday, and it sure ain’t safe day—
No sir… it’s Brick Day!”
There’s a thump on the floor, shake in the door,
Tiny’s tail’s sweepin’ up dust once more!
Debra’s claws clickin’ in time to the beat,
Lora’s got stew and Rusty’s got heat.
Pete’s on the mic with a whiskey in hand,
Eve’s whisperin’ runes no one quite understands,
But it’s all fine, it’s all okay—
‘Cause we party loud on Brick Day!
Brick Day! Big day! Eat ‘til the plates give way!
Meat’s on the fire, sky’s full of haze,
Ain’t no fog that’s gonna dull our blaze!
Laughin’, drinkin’, wasteland sway,
That’s the magic of ol’ Brick Day!
“Hey Brick, save some for the ghouls!” / “No! Brick hungry!” / “Debra, not the radio cables again!”
Tod tunes up his old six-string,
Rusty shouts, “Let that Tower ring!”
Lora’s dancin’ with a radroach pan,
Cookin’ stew for every mutant and man.
Brick’s laughin’ so loud the glass near shakes,
Eve mutters blessings just for the steaks,
She says, “The flame consumes, the meat is true…”
Well, good enough for me and you!
Brick Day! Big day! Shine that sky so gray!
Raise your mugs, your claws, your rays,
Even the fog stays back in daze!
Sing loud, sing wrong, that’s our way—
Long live the Tower and Brick Day!
Now some folks say the wastes are cold,
That hope’s gone dry and hearts get old…
But here tonight, I swear it’s gold—
With Brick and friends, and stories told.
Brick Day! Big day! The Tower hums hooray!
Fire in the pit, meat in the tray,
Fog or flame, we’ll dance anyway!
From Thermo hills to Riverton clay—
We’ll shout, we’ll sing, we’ll drink, we’ll stay—
‘Cause every day’s Brick Day!
“Keep your radios loud and your spirits louder, wastelanders.
Brick Day don’t come twice… unless Brick forgets,
and we just do it again tomorrow.”
