This is our second video of Salzburg (Austria) trip.
Although the area that which we cover in this part lies in Germany.

The place is called Berchtesgaden and it is famous for its Alps and Königssee lake. Königssee lake is widely considered as the most beautiful and clean lake in Germany.

Berchtesgaden is easily a one day trip from Salzburg.

How to reach Berchtesgaden from Salzburg and how much it costs?

1. From Salzburg central station, take bus 840 to Berchtesgaden Central Station. It is around 50 minutes bus ride and costs 12 € return trip per person.

2. If you want to visit Königssee like us, you can take bus 841 from Berchtesgaden Station to Königsee. It costs around 7 € return trip per person.

From Königssee station, it is a short 5-7 minutes walk to the lake, where you can board electric boats for a tour to St. Bartholoma Church and Salet (Öbersee).
