Staying Away From Fitan In The West || Shaykh Abu Suhaib al-Bassam

The fitan in the West are both numerous and diverse, encompassing challenges that can impact one's religion and overall well-being. These trials range from direct pressures related to practicing Islam—such as maintaining religious identity in secular environments, adhering to Islamic principles amidst contrasting societal values, and facing biases or misconceptions about Islam—to broader societal fitan. These include the impact of modern ideologies, materialism, social media influences, and the pursuit of superficial success. Every Muslim must develop the knowledge and resilience to navigate these challenges while maintaining a strong, unwavering connection to their religion.
