When the Speed Racer movie arrived in theaters back in 2008, there were lots of toys related to the movie. Several diecast companies made their version of many of the cars from the movie. Such companies were Mattel's Hot Wheels division, Jada and Johnny Lightning and I show samples of their Mach 5's.

The Hot Wheels brand had several track sets. This video will review the Speed Racer Fuji Helexicon Hot Wheels track set.

This is a 2-lane downhill race track that leads into two wild loops with an awesome crash intersection inside the loop! Downhill races are great because no batteries are required as gravity does all the work! The extra-wide landing ramp gives both cars a chance to jump for a safe landing.

To demonstrate this track set, I used the following official Hot Wheels Speed Racer models.

This set is compatible with many regular basic Hot Wheels models.
