Overlanding Cederberg | Wild Camps & Magical Scenery | Episode 1

A trip of 2 friends and a journey of discovery into the Cederburg and the Tankwa Karoo. Tim (lost in africa) and myself set off on a Sunday afternoon to discover some new wild camps in these areas in preparation for the tours we will be running in the areas in the near future.

In this episode we cover the first 2 nights of this 8 day journey, we find some secret caves to camp in and camp in a parking lot just off a hiking trail, have a dip in a river and drive through some of the best scenic terrain the Western Cape has to offer.

The ever changing scenery of the Western Cape allows us to drive through mountainous areas, dry desert and wide open pans as well as massive rock formations with some ancient rock art. Lots of fun was had on this journey and this only the very very beginning of it.
