Exploring Remnants of a Century Old Funicular Railway Deep in The Bush

Описание к видео Exploring Remnants of a Century Old Funicular Railway Deep in The Bush

Join me as I venture deep into the Blue Mountains bush to try and find the remnants of a Century Old Funicular Railway. Around 1910, cable incline was built at Faulconbridge, by Henry Joyce, to provide access to a sawmill beside Linden Creek. There must have been a tramline or track connecting the sawmill to the base of the incline. Lack of visible remains lower down suggest that the line, which used timber rails, was largely elevated on a trestle.
