श्री लक्ष्मी नृसिंह प्रसीदतु

Shri Hari Vayu Stuti, is an extempore compostion, by Vidwan TrivikramaPanditacharya, who was fortunate enough to witness Sriman Madhvacharya worshipping Lord Ram, Lord Krishna & Lord Veda Vyas by assuming three forms, Hanuma, Bheema & Madhva.

It was originally created as Vayu Stuti. When it was presented to Sriman Madvacharya, he approved of it but said that it was incomplete without the praise of Shri Hari. He composed two shloka of नृसिंह नखस्तुति, which were added in the beginning and thence it came popular as श्री हरि वायु स्तुति. Since then it became a practice to recite नृसिंह नखस्तुति in beginning & the end of वायु स्तुति, in an encapsulated form.

The great Madhva saint, Sri Sri Vadiraja Tirtha Swami Sripad, extolls the glory of श्री हरि वायु स्तुति by stating that he could understand the Sarvamoola Granth & other scriptures of Sriman Madhvacharya due to his practice of daily recital of श्री हरि वायु स्तुति.

The फलश्रुति of this shloka is

हरि सर्वोत्तम वायु जीवोत्तम ||
