BMW E46 M3 Differential Seal Replacement DIY (BMW E90 M3, E60 M5, E63 M6)

►The differential pinion seal is a notorious leaker in the BMW E46 M3 and on other M-cars with limited slip differentials. A leaking seal, other than causing a mess, will drain your differential of its lubricating oil. Replacing the pinion seal is the only way to fix the leak and ensure the health of your M differential.

The original pinion seal was poorly designed, so the engineers over at Corteco have redesigned it to fix all of its shortcomings. Fitting the improved seal will take a decent amount of tools, including a few specialties, but replacement can be done in a DIY setting with enough patience.
