Lara Training Guide 200 - 250

Lara is the newest class to enter Maple Story, and as such, had to be overpowered somehow right? Just kidding, Lara actually released as a rather weak class in KMS, however thanks to GMS spawn boosters, Lara is setting new records in terms of training.

Laras mobbing is the best in the game, completely outclassing Kanna/Zero/Mech. Her only downside, she is a very intensive focused mobber. There is not much 'Watching on the side' happening when youre training this class.

Youre focused almost entirely while training Lara. Trying to keep up with RNG spawning veins as well as maintaining your summons for full map clear as much as possible, is a full time job on this class. There is no respite from the micro-managing here. She's like Mechanic on steroids.

What you get out of all that micro-managing however, is the single greatest mobber this game has ever seen. Just off the summons alone, she outclasses 75% of the classes in this game in terms of sheer mobs hit. Lara is a absolute beast when it comes to mobbing.

Her bossing on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desires. She's very NL-esque in that her burst is phenomenal, but its on a LONG cd. Her off burst is a sloppy mess of trying to maintain summons in cramped maps, while trying to avoid summoning the vein you have absorbed. Its a claustrophobic mess of a bosser. With the visibility of a winter storm.

Lara has some dire problems. She's server sided for one, meaning entirely ping dependent. Which frankly is unacceptable in 2021 Maple. Nexon knows it feels awful to play, and we know as players, it removes any smooth gameplay from the equation.

Lara is clunky despite how smooth she SHOULD be. Everything is there for this to be one of the best feeling mobbers in the game. Albeit a little too focused of one, but a very good feeling mobbing class.

I hope they make Lara client sided, so this class can truly shine, as the Kanna-besting Sheep she is.
