Samo Davis: Skyway 2024 Featured Artist

Artist Samo Davis talks about the work "I'm Alive" on view in Skyway 2024 at the Tampa Museum of Art. In their mixed media sculptures, Davis incorporates kaleidoscopic color, organic forms, and repurposed materials that recall the artist’s time in global metropolises.

The Tampa Museum of Art, alongside the Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg, The Ringling, Sarasota Art Museum, and USF Contemporary Art Museum, is proud to present Skyway 2024, a groundbreaking triennial showcase. The exhibition celebrates boundless creativity and unity, featuring contemporary works by 63 artists and art collectives living and working in the Tampa Bay area.

Skyway 2024 is on view at the Tampa Museum of Art August 28, 2024, through January 5, 2025.
