Tips for Oncologists for Breast Cancer Patients With Vaginal Dryness + Painful Sex: FLASCO Talk 2021

A snippet of my talk to oncologists during the FLASCO (Florida ASCO) Virtual Meeting in 2021 sharing how I manage patients with vaginal dryness and painful sex during treatment. In these slides I review best vaginal moisturizers, why vaginal estrogen should be prescribed to breast cancer patients, and why you should NOT recommend vaginal lasers or other rejuvenation procedures to your patients!
I also emphasize that these issues can occur in not just breast and GYN-related cancer patients, but lung cancer, colorectal cancer, young cancer patients, and those with sarcomas after surgery.
