RAF WADDINGTON - Cobra Warrior 2022

Our debut at 'Waddo' RAF Waddington brought us to Exercise Cobra Warrior. We got to see the German Air Force with their ECR Tornados, the Italian Air Force who brought with them six F2000A Eurofighters (Italian version of Typhoon) along with their G550 CAEW. Also making an appearance was a NATO E-3 Sentry along with a home based Beechcraft Shadow R.MK 1

The Exercise, which ran for the last 3 weeks, has allowed members of the United States Air Force, Italian and German Air Forces and NATO to work alongside their RAF counterparts to undertake multiple training missions with various objectives. In turn providing a valuable opportunity to develop joint tactics, techniques, and procedures.
