Big Sur from Carmel by the Sea to Monterey California | 17 Mile Drive

Описание к видео Big Sur from Carmel by the Sea to Monterey California | 17 Mile Drive

Big Sur ranges from Carmel to San Simeon, so let's check out the Carmel portion of Big Sur shall we.

We stop by Carmel River State Beach which has a lagoon nestled away between sand and marsh along with a ton of birds flapping around. Plus the beach side gives a view of Point Lobos.

Then we enter 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach, first paying the $10.50 entrance fee. From there we check out Ghost Trees at Pescadero Point, which gives us a unique view of the rocky edges below.

Next up is Lone Cypress which offers a vantage point of a solo cypress tree once you walk down a set of stairs.

We leave Lone Cypress towards the beach and land up at Fan Shell Beach which blows you away with its spectacular 180 degree view of 17 mile drive and the Pacific Coast.

Along the 17 mile drive we find ourselves at Bird Rock, where sea lions battle upwards to gain control of the bird infested geo.

We then 17 mile drive behind and explore Lover's Point. Here we can have a picnic, sun bathe, or jump in water along the beachside.

Next on our list is Cannery Row where the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium can be found with a ton of restaurants along its sidewalks.

Leaving Cannery Row we park near Old Fisherman's Wharf to find a pier littered with restaurants, gift shops and people sprawling this curious space.

Nearby we find ourselves at Del Monte Beach where we can finally sit back and relax after a long day of exploration.

Last on our drive is Monterey State Beach with its sand filled dunes and more quiet, less crowded atmosphere.

I hope you guys took something away from today's adventure!
