NOIA family, these ice facial masks are a game changer! I have been using ice masks on my face and body on and off for the last few years and I love it. I notice that when I use them consistently my skin's overall appearance and texture improves. The added benefits of aloe vera, avocado, and matcha powder increase the benefits - treating various skin conditions. The recipes I use are full of ingredients that are beneficial for you skin and they will not drip all over the place like regular ice cubes or liquid DIY masks. Ice on the skin is great for reducing inflammation and puffiness, and stimulating blood circulation, which promotes healing. They also reduce the signs of aging and wrinkles and gives your skin a natural glow. The best part about these ice masks is that they are convenient - saving you time, and helping you to stay consistent by being able to just grab and apply. I designed them this way for that very reason, and to avoid wasting ingredients due to the amount left over and/or going bad from sitting in the refrigerator. You can use them twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. They are gentle enough for that. Be sure to always cleanse your skin before massaging the ice cubes on your skin.

How to make ice facial masks & what you need:

-1 full aloe vera leaf (be sure to soak/rinse in cool water to remove the yellow substance that can be irritating for skin/hair and toxic if ingested in large amounts)
-1 full avocado
-3/4 tsp of organic matcha powder (green tea)
-Blend all ingredients together well and immediately fill the silicon ice tray
-Place the mini popsicle sticks in the center of each cube
-Put the tray in the freezer and let the cubes freeze 5-8 hours to ensure they are frozen completely
-Immediately remove the cubes from the tray in place into a large mason jar
**Pro Tip: place the mason jar in the freezer for 2-3 hours before adding the frozen cubes to avoid placing them into a warm environment. Store in freezer and twice a day for best results.
