Today’s video it’s about the South African actress, filmmaker, producer, and businesswoman Connie Ferguson. She is well known for her role as Karabo Moroka on South Africa’s most popular soap opera, Generations.

1. Her Early Life
Ferguson was born on 10 June 1970, in Kimberly, Northern Cape, South Africa. She is 51 years old as of 2021. Ferguson was raised by her parents, Fish Masilo and Margaret Masilo. she moved to her father’s homeland of Botswana when she was just 5 years old and schooled there briefly. At the outset, she was terrified of speaking in front of people. To overcome this handicap, she had immersed herself in the world of sports and drama, ultimately overcoming that handicap and becoming one of South Africa’s most loved.
2. Her Educational Background
Ferguson apparently went to law school. Unfortunately, she was said to have failed criminal law and decided to switch to drama, she graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2012 and earned a degree in drama and performing arts.
3. Her Ferguson Family
She is a loving mother of two daughters named Lesedi Matsunyane, born 31 December 1992,(from her first marriage), and her second daughter Alicia Ferguson whom she had with her husband Shona Ferguson. Connie’s mother passed away in 2013. However, she has not revealed more information regarding her family. Connie Ferguso’s father is a man called Fish Masilo. At 85, he’s quite fit and Connie is happy her old man is in good health. She had been separated from her father when the pandemic struck. During the period, they could only FaceTime. With the lockdown relaxed, Fish Masilo had the chance, once again, to meet his daughter, other children, and grandchildren. Connie shared the happy reunion on her Instagram page, luxuriating in the fac that her father is still healthy at 85.

Ferguson and actor Neo Motsunyan tied the knot in the early 90s. The couple divorced in 1998. They have a daughter together named Lesedi Mtsunyane (born 31 December 1992). She found love again and got married to her lovely husband Shona Ferguson. Shona died on Friday 30, July 2021 due to COVID complications.

She is a native of Kimberly, Northern Cape, South Africa. Connie started her career in South Africa’s most famous Soap Opera in 1994. She is a famous Actress, Producer, Film-maker, and Businesswoman. Ferguson is well known for her main role in Karabo Moroka on South Africa’s most famous Soap Opera, Generations. She worked for more than 16 years and left in 2010. Connie comes from a Christian family.
Connie has appeared in Many Movies like Generations, Soul City, Soul City, Late Night News with, Comedy Central Roaster, Strictly Come Dancing, The Queen, and more. In addition, she appeared in 2018 on the cover of Forbes Woman Africa magazine. Ferguson made a dept in the movie The Queen on a telenovela, furthermore, she performed the popular show Harriet Khoza
She also starred as Marang Lebone, a helicopter-mom and the matriarch of the Lebone family, in the M-Net soap opera The Wild, from 2011-2013. Connie was the lead role in What If, Crime Reporter, Maitemogelo, and Soul City 1, 2, 3, and 4. She had a lead role in the production Cape of Good Hope and made a guest appearance on Okavango.
She has worked with different companies and has appeared in advertisements for Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion (1992), Ellerines (between 1990 and 1991), Black Like Me (1998), and Ultramel Custard (1992, 1995), Her advertising arena includes numerous fashion and beauty shoots for, Black Chic, Vodacom Billboards, Eskamel, Connie M Eyewear, and Wela Sheen
