These Cowboys From Compton Are Making a Difference in Their Community

Описание к видео These Cowboys From Compton Are Making a Difference in Their Community

Each year Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival brings us films and filmmakers from around the world. This year Fire on the Hill, directed by Brett Fallentine, was a crowd favourite. It featured Ghuan Featherstone and William "Fatpack" Bias —cowboys from Compton, L.A.— on their journey to restore "their vision of the West." While they were in Banff we got them back in the saddle to discuss the film, the work they do for their community through the Urban Saddles program, and why they believe, no matter where you're from, being a cowboy is a state of mind.

Special thanks to Banff Trail Riders for having us out to the ranch.
