This series was inspired from a real tiktok video of what I assume could have been a true story about typical mean girls from school.
The tiktok video consisted of 2 photos. One saying "the snap i sent her Vs." and the other saying "the snap she sent me back". It was just showing the 2 snap chat photos between Aubrey and her friend.
Aubrey sent a snap to her friend saying "they canceled the sleepover, but my mom said you can still come over" then the "friend" replied with a snap chat photo of her actually with all the girls at the sleepover that they told Aubrey was not happening. Obviously this means they didnt cancel the party, Aubrey was not invited afterall.
In the 1minute short tiktok video I made about this was a reinactment of what I assumed it would be like to experince this situation from both Aubreys side and the mean girls point of view. The frist video I made went viral with over 14Million views. So many people found this story relatable saying they had sadly experienced similar things when they were in school or are curently still going through something similar. Everyone started asking for a part 2 and then a part 3, and then before I knew it, it turned into a whole 14 part series.
