In Cambodia, "Nom PoPeay" is very popular. The balls are soft and chewy and the mung bean fillings are medium sweet. We will have it with shredded coconut and white sesame seeds.
Ingredients:
** Outer part
1lb [450g] Glutinous flour
1 can [400ml] Coconut milk

** Mung bean filling
1cup [250g] Peeled mung beans
1¼cup [300ml] Water
1¼cup [300ml] Coconut milk
4Tbsp Sugar
½tsp Salt
3.5oz [100g] Shredded coconut

** Topping
Shredded coconut
1Tbsp Sesame seeds
½Tbsp Sugar
½tsp Salt
