Ceramics II -Day 2 - Cleaning and Carving the Slab Platters (Exercise)

This is the second day on the Slab Platter Exercise for my Ceramics II students. This video shows the cleaning from the leatherhard stage to the carving of the design or pattern onto the surface- to proper drying technique. The ribs and shredders/surforms which I use for cleaning the form are from Mudtools. I use both the polymer ribs and stainless steel ribs. My absolute, all-time favorite ribs. See the doc link below for product links on Amazon!
