Wow, what an honor! We were invited to the castle of Varengrad! The old castle was built in the year 627 after the arrival of the first settlers and served as the residence for the founder of Varengrad. In the year 736 p.A. the seat of the king of Va'ariel was transferred to the mainland of Vlethwëin and Va'ariel was established as a new duchy. Come with us and explore this beautiful and historical castle!

BACKSTORY:
Besides the port city the castle was one of the first builds on the island and we had to get used to conquest reforged. In the first iteration of our try of a fantasy / medieval castle there was a huge tower in the middle, but it was impossible to capture natural light in the inside, so we decided to rebuilt most of the castle. The decorations of the Duchee's chamber and library were the last ones to finish.
