Flight to Brisbane, Australia under Student Visa via the Philippine Airlines - June 2022

In this video, we shared our experience flying to Brisbane, Australia from Manila, Philippines. We are under the Student Visa Subclass 500, me as the Primary visa holder and my husband as my dependent.

We forgot to mention a few things:
1. You will need to register for and complete your Australia Digital Passenger Declaration (DPD) account at least 1 hour before your flight. It is free and can be completed on your desktop, laptop or mobile. The things you need to prepare are your Passport and Vaccination Record. No need to pay for the BOQ Vaccine Certificate because VaxCert is accepted.

2. Have your VaxCert prepared at the PH airport. You can have it printed or saved as screenshot on your device. We were asked to show it while depositing our baggage.

3. Have your completed Australia DPD ready at the PH and AU airports. You can also have it printed or saved as screenshot. Your DPD will be checked at the immigration in PH and AU airports.

4. On the plane, flight attendants will distribute Incoming Passenger Card (IPC). It is a yellow card you will need to fill out. Remember that is is better to over declare that to under declare (the stuff you are bringing to Australia, e.g. food, wood, soil, dollar value).
