The story centers around Richard Osmond, who receives a letter from his missing father. Investigating his father's home, he comes upon a painting that transports him to the ghost ship Orpheus, which mysteriously disappeared and still carries the restless souls of its passengers--and the demons that torment them--upon the sea. What thereafter chances goes beyond imagination.

All cinematic sequences and gameplay dialogue have been preserved with selective edits to gameplay that omit tedious backtracking, while retaining enough exploration to provide continuity and a good acquaintanceship with the beautifully rendered world.
