In 1988 NBA Season, Jordan was so good in both ends of the floor that he was awarded Defensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player in that same Season. Being Awarded the DPOY is even more Impressive due to the fact that the award is traditionally given to big men who rebounds and block shots.

Next on the list is Hakeem Olajuwon. When Jordan first retired to play baseball, No one stepped up more than Olajuwon and easily became the best two-way player in the league. In 1994, He made the arguably the greatest individual season in NBA History. He led the Rockets to a Championship win while winning the Finals MVP on top of being the regular season MVP and Defensive Player of the Year! WOW!

Giannis Antetokounmpo recently has been added to this elite group of Players. He led the Buck to the best record in the league. He won Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the year in 2020.
