The newest event in the last fortress introduces us to the queen of the zombies. Basically a boss fight.

At the same time they are introducing gadgets, these give specific heroes additional buff, some even act as additional skills. So a five skill hero can now be a 6 skill hero.

Overall summary of events:

The general set up is this: You and 2 other players will rally against the queen. The person with the most damage gets the best rewards. You want to defeat the queen to get rewards and the rewards are the currency that is used to unlock and upgrade combat gadgets.

Breakdown:
Each day you can rally against the zombie queen up to 5 times.
You access this in the event center under “Zombie Queen is Here” event
You have 2 options Create a raid team or Quick team up
Creating your own raid team allows you to set the minimum CP for the players that join you. This is most beneficial if you are too weak to defeat the queen on your own. You can invite whales to help you.
Quick team up just pairs you with 2 random players or bots, you dont get a choice. Upside you will often get the MVP rewards, downside if you can not beat the queen your rewards may be less than what you thought.

To Sum up the 2 ways to rally: use quick rally if you can beat her on your own. Use custom rally if you cant and need additional support to beat her.

The queen dies at about 5mil damage.

The best lineups to kill the queen are the casino lineup and Victoria lineup.

Casino stops her from using her skills and so does Buc, (you can also use Chu), if timed right the queen will never use her special skill (more on that later).

Victoria line, basically victoria is a beast and can decimate the queen in a few rounds. Make sure you have heroes like buri and harman with her because they have shield skills and have at least 3 of your heroes wearing Alpha bless armor.

The queen:
This is what I have been able to figure out about the queen with help from our fellow discord players.
The Queen has a skill called Lethal Breath.

The skill hits both the heroes in the front and 1 hero in the back.
The skill then has a sustained effect that prevents 1 hero from using their special skills. This can last anywhere from 2 rounds to the entire match depending on how its timed.
The initial data suggests that she attacks the hero with the most durability, so the highest AGI in the back row will get hit and cant use their skill.

Strategy to combat the queen's skill:
Move 1 of your tanks to the back row. They will attract her attack and it will not shut down any of your damage dealers allowing you to deal out the most damage.
Another strategy is to not allow her to use her skill at all, the Casino line is good for that.


You can fight the queen 5 times per day, but you can also start rallies for other people to join up to an additional 10 times per day. You dont get any more rewards but you earn “helper” points and at the end of the week those points are calculated and you will be rewarded at that time, these are selectable master gadget blueprints.

So what do we get when we beat her? Currency used to unlock and upgrade your heroes gadgets.

The first heroes to have their own Combat Gadgets include: Blanche, Enrique, Quinn, Barron, Max, Kelly, Roland, Laurel, Qian Qian, Suzuki Ren, Kobayakawa, Benson, Bolton, Rebecca, and Chihiro Fujiwara.

Out of these Benson will be the most wanted upgrade because he is a beast in lineups even into season 11. Next I think Blanche for the casino line because her gadget gives her a new skill.

Some of these heroes have 3 different gadgets like Quinn, that give her 3 different skills. So you will have to decide which is best for your lineup. With that said the hierarchy for these gadges is just like ascending.

You have purple which allow you to upgrade them to level 60 and 3 stars, orange upgrade to level 80 4 stars and red upgrade to level 100 and 5 stars. The higher the level and more stars the better the buffs you get from that gadget.

To unlock them first earn the currency required by killing the queen, then go to your heroes, click on the specific hero and you will see a new gadge/weapon slot in the bottom left of the screen.
