Tirupati Temple Stampede: Tirupati SP Transferred, Judicial Probe Ordered By CM Naidu In Stampede

Major shake-up at TTD after Tirupati stampede – officials suspended and transferred. Six people were killed, and scores wounded in a stampede at the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Tirumala. Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu suspended Deputy SP Ramana Kumar and TTD SV Dairy Farm Director Harinatha Reddy. Tirupati SP L Subbarayudu, Joint Executive Officer M Goutami, and TTD CVSO S Sreedhar were also transferred. A judicial probe was ordered into the stampede at Padmavathi Park during ticket distribution for Vaikunta Ekadasi. Deputy CM K Pawan Kalyan criticized TTD and police for failing to manage the increased crowd. Opposition YSRCP called the incident a 'black' day and blamed the government for poor crowd management. CM Naidu suggested issuing tickets at district levels to prevent future incidents.
