Planting Comfrey Bocking 14 Root Cuttings

Описание к видео Planting Comfrey Bocking 14 Root Cuttings

I was told that comfrey was good for putting around fruit trees. Comfrey has a deep root system which pulls nutrients and minerals from down deep up to towards the surface for the fruit tree feeder root systems. Plus, I was told comfrey is thick enough it also acts as a natural weed blocker. Then, when it dies back in the fall the leaves act as a goof mulch system as teh leaves are full of all kinds of goodness which decompose back into the soil.

Top that off with as I read on comfrey it has all kinds of other things it should be good for. Seems like a no-brainer to plant some comfrey around my fruit trees. I was concerned that comfrey spreads out of control so I found that the Bocking 14 strain is said to be non-invasive. In order to propagate this strain you need cuttings. One downside I have read is that if you till the ground then you just made many many cuttings and now you have many comfrey plants.

Be careful with tilling - understood!
