Packing The XK Column For Chromatography

Hey so here we pack an 8 cm XK column from Cytiva with Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC) resin (or media). We use Phenyl HP to pack this column. You can use this technique to pack just about any XK column, large or small. You could use it to pack an IEX, affinity, desalting or SEC column as well.
