Encores! will close out its 25th season at New York City Center with Me and My Girl, running May 9-13. Starring Christian Borle and Laura Michelle Kelly, the work is described as "a delightfully old-fashioned musical," which follows Cockney everyman Bill Snibson who, after being unexpectedly elevated to the lofty position of Earl of Hareford, risks losing his longtime partner, Sally Smith. The show features a score by Noel Gay. L. Arthur Rose and Douglas Furber penned the original book and lyrics, and the new production includes a revised book by Stephen Fry, with contributions by Mike Ockrent.
