From the January 2026 Splatfest.

A well-fought match, in the Friends vs. Family (vs. Solo) Splatfest. Perhaps the opposition this time was good friends? Of my team this match, I was only family with Swest (by marriage), but she was enough.

0:19-0:34 - I'm not sure why the sparkle in the special ink they had for this Splatfest is not showing up well.
0:40-0:42 - Antipode Booyah Bombs! Notice which one had most of its ink on the floor showing when they were finished.
0:43-0:47 - One trick to confidence like this? Honestly not noticing that the rest of your team is down. I do not recommend it, in hindsight, even if it worked this time.
0:48-0:50 - That's enough Booyah Bombs for the moment, thank you.
0:51-0:56 - A pushing I will go.
0:57-1:05 - Assuming they came in from my forward left, which seems likely, the opponent that got behind me must have slipped by at 1:02. That, or there was another teammate further back they Super Jumped to.
1:06-1:13 - I should have checked to see if my team was up for the push first. They were still catching up from respawning.
1:31-1:45 - If no one else is going to ink these parts, I may as well.
1:53-1:56 - I was a little excessively paranoid here, I think.
2:11-2:15 - Can't get them?
2:16-2:19 - Then go around.
2:20-2:22 - Only to find out that Swest took care of my problem already.
2:23-2:26 - So I took care of a problem for her.
2:56-3:08 - Swest and I do think alike sometimes. (If you miss the flash right as the view changes, see her icon in the second position from the left.)
3:15-3:17 - One last splat to finish the match.
