Roller Painting Our Sprinter Van for $200 USD: DIY Paint Job For Sprinter Conversion

Описание к видео Roller Painting Our Sprinter Van for $200 USD: DIY Paint Job For Sprinter Conversion

We decided it was time for an exterior van makeover! In this video, we walk you through the process of doing body work on our T1N sprinter van before we get started on DIY painting our sprinter van. We decided on roller painting our sprinter van because it would have cost thousands to get it re-sprayed by a professional. We are thrilled with the results of our van's transformation for such little money.

Disclaimer: we are not experts by any means, but we wanted to share our experience in case we are able to help you avoid any mistakes we made

We used 1 gallon of Krylon Oil Based Rust paint and Xylene at a ratio of about 15% to thin our paint. To roller paint the van we used high density foam rollers and a foam brush for the detail work.

We coated the bottom of our Sprinter van in an EZ Liner truck bed liner. But if we had time to order ahead, we would have used Raptor Coat.

We recommend giving yourself at least a week to complete this job, as it is not a one-day job. The more time you give your paint to dry between coats, the better your result will be.
