Whisky .com reviews the Akashi. This single malt comes from the Japanese White Oak distillery and matured first 3 years in Ex-Bourbon casks. After that followed a two-year finishing in Ex-Sherry casks.

The nose:
Sherry, sweet, vanilla, maltiness, floral note
The taste:
Creamy, sweet, oak, spicy
The finish:
Medium with oak
