Rahul Gandhi Reaches Hathras, Meets Family Members Of Stampede Victims

The Hathras stampede left many families in grief including Mukesh's who lost his mother in this tragic incident that killed over 100 people. Mukesh's mother had gone to attend the self-styled godman Baba Bhole's satsang from Aligarh. "We came to know that the organisers had permission for 80,000 people but about 2 to 2.5 lakh people attended the event. At the end of event, when baba (Bhole Baba) was about to leave he said that if anyone or any of their family member is facing any problem in life, they should use his feet-soaked water and offer to the needy family member. And that's why people ran to take that water. This led to stampede. Elderly people like my mother, who was around 55-year-old, couldn't move and mowed down." Watch here for more-
