Yuzuru made a surprise appearance at the 5th City of Sendai Mayor's Cup, held today.

The First Sendai Mayor's Cup Figure Skating Competition (2018) was sponsored/ supported by funds raised during Yuzuru Hanyu's Sendai Parade; with the purpose of strengthening & training skaters & to expand the base of skaters.

Yuzuru to the young skaters: “Be confident today, although you might get nervous. Even if you’re nervous, you’ll get stronger each time.”
