Making the Phase 1 habitat survey map

Roger Brown talks about his involvement in Greening Steyning's nature map. He explains why it was made, how it was done, and what it tells us about the precious countryside around Steyning, Bramber and Beeding - and how we can help preserve it. The map was the product of what's known as a Phase 1 Habitat Survey. The map is now available online in a fully interactive format that allows you to zoom in and out, and see different 'layers' of information.
