FIDLOCK TALKS: How the idea of HERMETIC drybags became a patented product

How does an exciting idea become an ingenious product? Philip Naftali and Izik Moalem are the founders of the company Gooper and realised their vision of waterproof bags. The first patent application was filed in November 2010 and published the following year. Sales started in 2011 and the first customers included Billabong and an Olympic champion. After participating in various international trade fairs and events, Philip Naftali and FIDLOCK founder Joachim Fiedler met at ISPO in Munich in 2019. Gooper has been accepted into the FIDLOCK family in the same year. Meanwhile, the product portfolio also includes an innovative hydration bladder, which was presented to the market in 2021 and has been available since 2022.
