When I first started my content creation journey; I had an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. This was AMD's RDNA 1 architecture. It was decent for 1440p gaming. However, it was awful for content creation. My streams would look muddy or pixelated. My stream would drop frames because my PC could not handle the live stream plus the game at the same time. Even recording videos in OBS for YouTube proved to be a challenge. I switched over to the RTX 3070 and have been using Nvidia ever since. A few weeks ago I decided to give AMD another try. We are now on RDNA 4 and it has been many years. AMD has come a long way and the 9070 XT's AV1 encoder is truly impressive. In this video, I stress the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT by running a more demanding live stream than before, plus I played some games, and I recorded it all locally to my PC. AMD can now be used for a single streaming PC setup. AMD is now a viable alternative to Nvidia for content creators.
