A Day at Lowleigh Station

Welcome to Lowleigh. After an introduction to the branchline and the station, the video depicts all of the trains that call at the wayside passing station on a typical summer's day in 1957 when railways still served their local communities. Lowleigh is situated about halfway down the fictitious branch which runs between Kidderminster and Brombury in Worcestershire. The model is to the scale of 4mm:foot, track gauge '00'. This is the first of several planned videos depicting the trains which serve the station; please look out for future episodes. If you would like to know more about the model, 'Lowleigh' was featured in MRJ numbers 241 & 242 and the second article about traffic on the branch is scheduled for publication in the near future in Railway Modeller.
