Описание к видео Unlocking Research Opportunities for Undergraduate Psychology Students at SDSU

Join us as we explore the exciting research opportunities available for undergraduate psychology students at San Diego State University (SDSU). In this video, we are introduced to the hardworking students working in SDSU’s Health Psychology Labs. Each student talks about their own experiences in starting their research journey as an undergraduate.

In the video, Assistant Professor of Psychology Jessica McCurley, Ph.D, who leads the Health Equity, Justice, and Action (HIJA) Lab, expresses how these opportunities intend to introduce students to the world of research and what that may look like. She encourages all students to seek these opportunities as they are eager to welcome undergraduate students to be a part of their team and start their research journey.

Assistant Professor of Psychology Ariana Stickel, Ph.D, who leads the Brain Research in Latino Life-Course Aging (BRILLA) Lab, also emphasizes how important it is for every undergraduate student to be aware of these opportunities. These labs focus on building a community where students get to be involved in every aspect of research and gain hands-on experience in the research field.
