Police are investigating after shots were fired at the U.S. consulate in downtown Toronto early Tuesday morning. Premier Doug Ford and Mayor Olivia Chow condemned the shooting, coming just days after multiple shootings at Toronto-area synagogues. Chow said there is a heavy police presence at both the U.S. and Israeli consulates Tuesday amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
