Joe Fingers Carr and His Ragtime Band - Fireman's Ball (Capitol Records H/T-527 - 1954) - Lou Busch

Описание к видео Joe Fingers Carr and His Ragtime Band - Fireman's Ball (Capitol Records H/T-527 - 1954) - Lou Busch

A return engagement for Lou Busch a.k.a. Joe "Fingers" Carr, joined by some of the best session musicians in 1950s Hollywood. Not a ragtime band, really, except in name, this still is an entertaining romp with the excellent ragtime piano of Lou Busch and a cache of nostalgic tunes that are, at times, exquisitely and expertly arranged, and occasionally a bit out of date for the times. Screen commentary as usual with some extra info on the tracks and the songs.
