In this tutorial, I teach you how to create a Japanese wave pattern (known in Japanese as Seigaiha) in Affinity Designer, using the ellipse tool.

The Seigaiha is a traditional Japanese pattern modeled after a wave, and is meant to symbolize good luck. Seigaiha in Japanese means “blue sea and waves”.
