BIG BORE RIMFIRE: Will Vintage Ammo Fire?

This remarkable Ballard rifle gets an opportunity to shine once again in this video. The Ballard here is a falling block, big bore rimfire which is quite unique. I actually found a couple of batches of 44 Rimfire from 1890 -1920, so I try to show you this Ballard in action. Firing this rifle did not go perfectly, but it sure was interesting and surprising!
