JMeter - Recording your tests tutorial
▸In this video we will show you a quick example of how to use JMeter's script recorder feature to speed up your test creation process.

We begin the video by creating a new test suite and then use the "Templates" feature to generate a base configuration needed to begin recording your http requests. We then quickly go over the default settings and what they are for before showing you how to configure your browser to initiate the recording process.
Once the configuration settings are in place, we perform a quick recording of a typical user trying to log into our application and explain the results of the recorded test. At the end we remove some unnecessary tasks that were recorded and also add an additional validation step using a response assertion which allows you to validate the response from the web server.
