Noi and the Ongis inflitrating Fang from blocking to lighting ♥️ Raya And The Last Dragon ✨🐉✨ Storyboarding for this section was done by amazing @alleno4 ✨ This shot was quite a challenge due to the sheer amount of ground the action beats the characters needed to cover within the length of the shot.
I had to think about the choreography of the shot without making it too lengthy as the pacing of the shots around it had a quick flowey rythem. The Ongi’s (supervised by @vitor_vilela ) and Noi can be very quick and efficient when they work as a unit so I took that into consideration to come up with something fun with each of the characters so when you see them up close you can find something fun every time you watch it. 😄
A little Fun-Fact ! : After I presented my ‘Idea Pass’ I learned from our head of story @fawnv that in Thai culture eating with your left hand is inappropriate because it’s associated with toilet related functions. 😮🙌🏻 So as a properly trained baby with good etiquette, I animated her eating the fruit with her right hand 🙌🏻✨ Something for everyone to respect and consider if you ever have the chance to visit South East Asia 🤗
