One of the most challenging things bass players have to do is walk one or two chords on 8, 16 or even longer numbers of bars. Detroit bassist and educator Marion Hayden shares tips on walking the bass line on multiple bars.

Marion Hayden is one of very few female jazz bassists to become one of the more enduring instrumentalists in the Midwestern United States. She is the current bass instructor at Michigan State University's Community Music School - Detroit.
