2-Day up Cruise: Luang Prabang – Pak Beng – Houay Xay. Day 1: Luang Prabang to Pak Beng

Hotel Pick-Up & Departure:
One day before departure, our team will confirm your pick-up time directly at your hotel in Luang Prabang. On the day of departure, we’ll pick you up at 6:30 AM and transfer you to the pier.
The cruise sets off at 7:00 AM, heading upstream along the majestic Mekong River.
First Stop – Pak Ou Caves (Approx. 9:00 AM):
Explore the sacred Tham Ting (Pak Ou) Caves, home to over 4,000 Buddha statues, placed here by devotees over centuries. A revered pilgrimage site, especially during Lao New Year (Pimai Lao).
Cruising Through Scenic Landscapes:
Enjoy a relaxing journey with views of mountain ranges, lush greenery, and remote river communities.

Arrival in Pak Beng:

Day 2: Pak Beng to Houay Xay

Morning Departure:
Your hotel will provide a takeaway breakfast box. Our guide will welcome you at the Pak Beng pier for departure at 7:00 AM.
Village Visit – Hill Tribe Community (Approx. 9:00 AM):
Visit an ethnic village, where your guide will introduce you to the daily life, traditional homes, and school of the local hill tribe people.
Lunch Onboard:
Enjoy a freshly prepared Lao lunch served at 12:00 PM, while cruising further upstream.
Arrival in Houay Xay:
Arrive around 4:30 PM in time for border crossing to Thailand and onward travel.
