Details:

Tor is a versatile tone shaping pedal that precisely recreates every nuance of an OC44 Germanium Rangemaster using Silicon transistors, including the frequency, transient, and harmonic response of the original. This gives you the best of both worlds, the stability of Silicon and the tone of Germanium. Tor introduces extremely accurate soft clipping distortion and a subtle compression effect to the high frequencies which sounds fantastic with the Bass control dialled down to taste. The input impedance of 15kOhm is authentic to the OC44 Rangemaster and makes Tor highly interactive with your guitar, consequently Tor should be used first in the chain with no buffer before it.

The Mid Boost control utilizes a halo inductor to produce a variety of classic cocked wah tones from Brian May to Jimmy Page, and ranges from +0dB to +12dB with selectable frequencies of 2.1kHz, 870Hz, and 440Hz.

The Lift control allows you to raise or lower all of the non-mid boosted frequencies, producing more subtle and narrow mid boosted effects, and can provide +5dB of additional output when using Rangemaster settings.

The Gain Switch pushes the signal 10dB further into saturation, with a mix of soft and hard clipping, producing a dynamic, amp-like, overdrive effect.

The white dots (position markers) on the enclosure indicate the correct setting to achieve a neutral or flat EQ.

Feedback:

"I can only say that I think it's a fantastic pedal! I probably have over 20 treble boosters and the Tor hangs with the OC44's and the best silicon variants out there. It's super tweakable as well. I can't recommend this pedal enough. Thanks!"
