Welcome to my Prashar Lake vlog, where I will take you on a mesmerizing journey to this mystical lake located in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.

Prashar Lake is famous for its floating island that mysteriously moves around the lake. The lake is surrounded by picturesque hills and dense forests that add to its natural beauty. One of the main attractions here is the Prashar Rishi temple, a magnificent wooden structure built in pagoda style architecture.

In this vlog, I along with my three friends embarked on a journey from Jaipur and reached Fogg Hill Camps, a camping site located 2.5 km away from Prashar Lake. We stayed here in cozy tents, enjoying the warmth of a bonfire, music, and a star-filled night sky. The cost of our stay in the tent, including dinner, breakfast, and a bonfire, was Rs. 800 per person.

The next morning, we started our trek to Prashar Lake and visited the ancient Prashar Rishi temple, dedicated to the sage who meditated on the floating island in the middle of the lake. We then went on a parikrama or a circumambulation of the holy lake, enjoying the serene surroundings and capturing the scenic beauty from various viewpoints on the nearby hills.
